A popular attachment for the Mitchell Backhoe Tie Switcher is a multipurpose bucket and a hose real mount that clamps into the multipurpose bucket. The hose reel lines quick connect to lines on the rear of the front quick coupler so the unit can be put on and taken off quickly. The hose reel frame has a place to hold a spike driver and a spike puller. Both tools can be securely chained and pad locked.

While the operator is removing and inserting ties on the other end the ground man is pulling or driving spikes on the other end of the backhoe.
