Mitchell's “Ride-Rite” System eliminates wheel vibration, which is the root cause of poor ride quality and accelerated suspension component wear on hi-rail gear trucks. The “Ride-Rite” System involves a precision machined adapter that bolts onto the truck hub and a standard Accuride® Rim that bolts to the Wheel Adapter.

The “Ride-Rite” wheel adapter is piloted* to the truck hub and the rim is piloted to the “Ride-Rite” wheel adapter.  The OEM design of truck manufacturers is for the rim to pilot to the hub. The result is that the weight of the truck is carried on the piloted center of the rim, not on the wheel studs.

Mitchell's “Ride-Rite” System follows the design parameters of OEM truck manufacturers, and does not cause the wheel studs to bear the weight of the truck and its load. The Accuride® Rims Mitchell specifies are standard, off-the-shelf rims used as OEM equipment by truck manufacturers.
