Description:
The RT-401 Square Rail Threader is used by rail gangs to lay or remove bolted rail. This universal Rail Threader is used on all sizes of welded rail. The rollers are positioned to hold the rail in an upright position. The center of the Threader has clearance to accommodate bolted joints. The RT-401 Threader side opens in two ways for easy rail loading. The heavy-duty construction allows the Threader to roll the rail upright and thread the rail into the tie places. The replaceable tapered roller bearings equipped with grease seals are inside of the rollers for protection and extended life.
